G1X does some Digital Zooming&Teleconverter

Many thanks Dimitri for this, and to Krugman for his previous post and link which I found most refreshing. For me this was truly a great find as, like you, I was always led to believe one should avoid digital zooms. Just tried this out with 1.5 TC and I agree with Krugman it does appear sharper than standard zoom when comparing like for like.
This great camera gets better all the time - thanks to Guys like you.
