It doesn't help your point much I think. It may be true for people photography but what about for instance landscape long exposures at dawn.

Then you are using manual focus at 10x in live view.

All photographers have different requirements. So don't say that some feature is not useful.

Of course. I was just wondering why AF at -3EV is useful. I don't think your example applies.

I, and others, gave you examples were it is useful. If you brush them aside as not valid because it is not your shooting style then why start a post at all.

My opinion is that a camera that is capable of shooting up to 102,400 ISO but won't focus in low light is out of balance and not very useful. This is enough argument to make -3 eV focus sensitivity very useful. Personally the 5DMKIII should have had this too.
