GH3 for stills only?

Why not GH3 for stills only when according to many sources it is using the same or very similar sensor to that in the EM5 with similar IQ? As for price if you include a grip on EM5 to match std one on the GH3 the price of the body is the same but you get IBIS with the EM5 and much greater video capability on the GH3. If size is the issue yes the EM5 would be my choice.

It all depends on what lenses you intend to get and use. If using primarily legacy lenses then yes I would bet the EM5 but if you want either of the fast new Pany zoom lenses then makes sense to get the GH3 as with the kit you will save at minimum $400 compared to buying the 12-35/f2.8 lens separately even when including the latest $200 discount. From reports the GH3 will have the fastest and best CAF period with the new fast lenses. The new GH3 appears to be a better fit argonomically when used with any of the new larger lenses.
