While I am a m4/3 advocate, I have to admit that Sony has hit a game changer with their new compact kit lens with the NEX6 providing the IQ proves to be good.

The problem for me is once you get into telephoto zoom lenses the m4/3 ones are significantly smaller and greater reach with their 2X.

Also most reviews I have seen give either the Pany or Oly AF systems significantly faster by a margin of say 0.1/0.3 sec vrs 0.7-1 sec compared to the NEX and more accurate and that performance advantage is also a game changer for me. I think the latest AF of the GH3 may well make CAF plenty fast and accurate for sports.

I am tempted to get the NEX6 with its EVF and kit lens for scenics while keeping my small DSLR (Pentax KX) for tele work when needed. My best wish is a m4/3 camera much like what the NEX6 is today.

So many very good choices these days.
