7D dead after Firmware 2.0?

A few days ago I updated my 7d to Firmware version 2.0. I had no problems with the update. I tested it afterwards and all seemed to work fine. I took the lens off, put the body cap back on and put it in my bag. Tonight I pulled it out to get ready for a trip tomorrow and found it's dead. Tried various batteries, with and without the grip, nothing. Took the CR1616 out of waited a bit, put all back in, nothing. Put a new CR1616 in it. Still nothing. Display shows nothing at all, no leds flash, it's completely unresponsive. The camera hasn't moved since the firmware update. A few searches and I've found other reports of this as well although not exactly common. I guess I'll call Canon tomorrow, but this really sucks.
