you mentioned being busy playing with mirror-less cams, and I'm starting
to play with the idea of getting one in the future, instead of the Pentax K30
that was my original idea. Which cam are you getting in love with ?
Had any experience with the Sony Nex-5n ? I've seen some photos
from the Nex and they look good ! At least a good quality/cost.

The Nex has an APS-C sensor, so it will shoot very well ... especially in RAW. And of course Sony video rocks.

But I am a Nikon shooter and I was looking to replace my compacts, not my D7000. Thus, I needed a compact mirrorless. And the trail led me to the J1, which is a compromise in sensor size, but which shoots really nicely and can mount and focus my monster 70-300VR. This is really fun, I have to say.

So far, I really like the little fella. But if I were starting from scratch, I must admit that I would be seriously meaning towards the EM-D E-M5 as my main cam with a possible addition of the E-PM2 for compact needs. One set of small-ish lenses and two great cameras. Alas ... Nikon has me for now.
