Oly 75mm Lens - Some Disappointment

Just got the lens. Shooting with em5. I'm a little disappointed with the quality of the images. I love the 1.8, which is way better than my f5.0 or worse of my 100-300. But as for IQ, I'm not seeing more detail, shooting at similar f stop. And I am seeing the fringing of the Oly (which I assume will be corrected by Adobe). I expected to see much better image.

Anyone else's experience comparing IQ of the 100-300 at 75mm with the 75mm?
