Opinions on the 12-35 Pana?

Hey,

I was wondering now it's been out for a bit what the consensus is about the Panasonic 12-35 lens? Specifically does it compare to the full frame 24-70's or does it fall short?

I'm also interested in using it for video, does it do a good job for that? Aka is the focusing decent or sloppy etc?
