GX1 users, kit Vario X 14-42mm lens sharpness variance

Hi all

I have been getting to grips with my GX1 for a while and now that I have disabled OIS, turned off NR etc, I am finding I am getting much better results from my kit lens. Dare I say it is bloody sharp! I have seen a couple of comments from other members who are extremely happy with their kit lens and wonder if it is simply the luck of the draw? Comments?
