D600 Owners: AF Question...

Are any new D600 owners at all surprised by the speed of the AF?

I'm coming from the D4/D800 and I am somewhat surprised at how quick it is. I expected that perhaps the new Multi-CAM 4800 would be a step or two behind the Multi-CAM 3500FX used in the D4/D800 in focus acquisition. However, this does not seem to be the case for me (50 1.8G).

Perhaps it's just the "newness" of it all. What has your experience been?
