K-5 IIs (yes/no?)
Sep 19, 2012

Ok so i've been away on vacation for 2 weeks... i don't want to scan through all the posts trying to get all the information... if people could give me the discussion in a nutshell that would be appreciated...

Basically at a glance it looks like a K-5 with some improvements, I know some were hoping for that including myself (a bit)... So similar sensor, IQ, DR etc. all the good stuff stays...

what is added?

  • Better AF tracking, better low light AF (supposedly a huge improvement?)

  • Focus peaking???

  • cheaper launch price leaving room for a K-3 early next year.

  • no AA filter

So what am i missing and what do i need to know before i pluck $$$$ down on this camera which will make my original K-5 a secondary camera?
