If those are JPEG's out of the camera, this is very impressive indeed.
Those who are saying otherwise here, don't know what they are talking about.
At 100 % pixel peeping there is always some noise at ISO 1600 and more, with every camera. 24 MP files are not to be mentioned to look at 100 %. At prints up to A3 these ISO 1600 shots will look perfect, trust me.
Sony got it right this time. I guess taking RAW's with own processing will be even better.
Very promising.
