I've been shopping for a new system most of this year. I think the NEX6 is my ideal camera. However my heart is holding out and really wants a d600. I am also a bit worried that a mirrorless smaller sensor camera will be an IQ compromise. I mean if its less than half the price it shouldn’t be as good right?

The question really is. Has anyone shot a 5d/d700/a850 and a NEX and noticed a difference in IQ for well lit pictures?

If you're looking at say a 8x10 picture would you be able to tell which one was taken with a $1000 NEX w/zoom vs a $3000 FF zoom?

Looking at everyone's samples I think the IQ is just as good, maybe better VR/OSS and autofocus means more keepers?

Aside from being nicer to hold and attach big lenses and accessories, is there any reason to covet a FF camera then?
