Well at least according to Canon's own docs they are: one dimensional, and with f/5.6 accuracy, which is exactly the same as 5D2.
Yes, they may upgrade the FW behind the sensor a bit, but it still won't make them cross ones and/or f/2.8 high precision ones.
Just accept it: 5D2 AF reloaded. Few steroids on top.
