Photo Ninja is a good program. I like how it makes my D700 photos look on the first load. It optimizes dynamic range very well while maintaining color saturation and realism. It also works surprisingly well on backlit photos. Other RAW conversion programs that I used would already require one to apply some editing to get there. Such editing may in turn produce undesirable artifacts that would need to be counteracted. This of course costs valuable time.

The batch export feature is currently missing, but the vendor also assured me that it will become available soon.

Even with it's limitations I think it's a very worthwhile program, and I started integrating it into my workflow. It definitely offers something different and useful that in the end makes my photos look pleasing quicker.
