Hi ogremage, I have an E-PM1 and confirm you can use the roller dial to adjust aperture. The camera is extremely customisable - the default settings are a little strange IMO for some features, but half an hour of tweaking gets you an excellent and very usable camera. I'm delighted with mine (though I'd still love an E-M5).
