Show Your Snaps...September 17, 2012

We invite you again to show your own snapshots or even choice pictures. Remember it's all about the enjoyment of taking pictures regardless of what we have. We can learn from each other and it's fun to share too.

This past Saturday I went out to Forest Grove, Oregon to take pictures at their annual Chalk Art Festival. It's the second time I've been out there. We were fortunate to have sunny weather.

We will start a new thread for this every week now due to the popularity. I'll be sure to comment also to your images, if you choose to share. Thanks everyone for your participation.

Photo No. 1 - Here's the main street where the chalk art could be found on the sidewalks to give you all an idea of the general scene. I accidentally had the ISO level too high here (and the fifth photo too).

Photo No. 2 - Many of the artists spent quite a long time working on their chalk art, and found that they were getting a lot of chalk on themselves in the process.

Photo No. 3 - Here's another view of the chalk art as it progressed a little more. Some of them would color the entire square on the sidewalk between the lines.
