Milky Way (Colorado)

I'm still alive. Just been real busy.

After spending the past 15 months traveling I've finally settled back down and got a real job again. Wanting a change I moved from Florida to Colorado.

Been here about 3 weeks and loving it. Made the trek out to Mirror/Crater Lake in the Indian Peaks area for some weekend hiking/camping.

Was all set to do some time lapse and star trail photos but realized I left my remote timer at home. Ahhh crap. So I figured I'd give it a go on trying to grab some solo star shots. This is my first time so any C&C is welcomed.

Got really lucky on the second shot. Had a smaller fire and the camera picked up the ambient light it produced which lit up the trees really nice.
A cold night at about 38 degrees. Enjoy!!
