New NEXs third party e mount lens PDAF support

Has there been any news anywhere on whether sony will be extending PDAF support for the NEX 5R and 6 beyond sony branded eMount lenses?

I know its still early days. but as a Tamron 18-200 owner and someone looking to pick up the sigma lenses, this is a concern for me.
