Leica X2 Focusing Issues

Hi all,

Is anyone else here getting focusing issues with the X2? Particularly in bright light? I have read Steve Huff's post about getting a dud X2 for his initial review, however, mine is more of a hit and miss. I am losing about 30% of my shots due to misfocus, more so in bright lighting i.e. f/11 1/250 ISO100, and the subject will not be in focus, but at the same time, neither is the background or any other subject in the photo in focus.

It has happened several times now; and getting quite frustrating at times losing shots. Should I be contacting my local Leica dealer regarding this? or is this a common problem? Was hoping to wait for new firmwares to iron this out (if it is indeed a common problem, and not one solely related to my particular X2).
