Seems like there is another high frame rate cameras such as this...

There are a lot of us with our fingers crossed hoping for that D400 and are desperate to just about turn everything into a sign that the D400 is coming! That includes me. And Kerry, I agree Nikon is probably trying to get the most out of their models and it would make good business sense. If I were mainly a portrait or wedding photographer I might be more than satisfied with the D600 instead of the D800.

But as it has been discussed over and over again a fast framed DX camera that has more resolution and a little better high iso performance is highly desired by us sports and event shooters, not to mention those that shoot birds and anything else where extra reach and faster frame rates are helpful.
