Down loading d3s files.

Hi
I took some pics with my d3s a week ago, then took some pics today. When I downloaded them via Nikon View Nx2 I was only able to down load the pics I took today. The pics from a week ago would not down load . I checked preferences to make sure download new files only was unchecked. I am able to see all the files if I review them in the camera.
Did not change any settings in the camera.
Am running rescue pro deluxe in effort to get the pics.
They were not so valuable but I do not want this to happen again. And do not understand why it happened.
