D600: no live histogram in liveview?

It seems that D600 has no live histogram in liveview mode, at least judging by Digitutor screens, there is no hint of it.
If true, I simply cannot understand why a basic feature present in $300 point and shoots it's absent on a $2000 FX DSLR. In any DSLR with liveview, for that matter.
I can understand savings on megapixels, FPS, shutter mechanism, build quality, but not on basic features like a live histogram. It's silly. D600 has a state of the art sensor, nothing short of excellent image quality, but silly decisions like this may lead some people to thinking D600 is not a serious camera...and it is.
It seems it isn't possible to adjust audio levels during recording movies, too. Another silly decision to differentiate models.
