Does any one use the 10 pin port?

I have nothing that can use the
10-pin port on the D700

Actually, I would like a nice wireless remote control.
The ML-3 is really expensive.
I always want to buy Nikon brand,
but I am tempted buy an imitation one...

And I envy the ML-L3 that can be used on the D600.

Does anyone use the 10-pin at all?

Is it a nice feature?
