The 60 shot limit could be there. I don't have the camera, but according to the manual the image count can be set to: 10 pictures, 20 pictures, 30 pictures, 40 pictures, 50 pictures and 60 pictures.
If correct I agree that this seems to be a frustrating an unnecessary limit.
Does anyone have an LX7 to confirm?
