5d mark III price now!

Like a lot of buyers I spent $3,495.00 for my 5dIII a few months ago. Adorama is selling them on Ebay for $2,749.00. Has anyone heard or Canon offering any kind of compensation to early buyers. This can't help Canon sell new products in the future. I know I'll never be first again.
