Sony already tried the whole $2k full frame... TWO YEARS ago... and it didn't generate nearly as much buzz as the D600 right now. It goes to show you how behind Sony is in the market share. The A850 was released at $1,999 in 2010, but the D600 is "changing the industry" for the price of $2,099...lol
