Well, I like micro four thirds in this way:
If I were to carry my fullframe DSLR gear, I'd reach that 5 lbs mark pretty soon, my D3S + 24-70 alone weighs around 5 lbs... And it would be slower, less FL range, bigger, I'd have no bag, no filters, no tripod, no cleaning supplies, etc.
In what way is the D3s with the 24-70 slower?
Because the 24-70 is 2.8 so it's slower than my 3 primes which are 2.0 / 1.7 / 1.8
Also I have IBIS in the OM-D while the D3S hasn't. So I can effectively shoot at lower isos than those I'd have to use on the D3S
I figured you meant that. I had the D3s and now have the D800. Received the OMD-5 last evening and look forward to try it this weekend.
My point was that the shutter speed, bokeh, and low noise in the pictures will be just as good with the D3s and 24-70 as the micro four thirds with primes - There must be some advantages with these humongous dslr
Focal range will of'course not be as long and weight is much higher.
