The text of the post says, "Top - D700 upscaled, bottom D600 downscaled", but both photos in the post have " D600 ISO 6400 NR OFF" printed on them.
Good comparison. I wouldn't mind seeing the D600 processed with chroma NR from the RAW converter just to know what it would look like.
Appears the D700 crowd has a replacement that meets their need for low noise.

A photograph is more than a bunch of pixels
It took me a moment to figure it out too, but the left side of both photos is the D700. The right is D600. In the top photo, the D600 is at native resolution. In the bottom photo the D700 is at native resolution.
