D600 Cable Release Jack?

I can already see it has no cover for the viewfinder - I have no idea what D7000 users do when taking a long exposure but it looks like that is a missing feature for the D600. Also, where on earth is the cable release jack that sits on the front of the D800? Is it under the side flap? I can't find a photograph with the side flaps all open on the D600...
