Do you know something we don't? Because the only way to solve the low light sensitivity problem of those AF pixels, is by giving them more real estate. Which means more noise (see SLT downside) and if you sacrifice enough imaging pixels, you're going to affect the images themselves locally as well.

But if they manage to solve it, all current DSLR mounts are at stake as they will become small niches with the mass grow of mirrorless and generations not even knowing what the look through an OVF is like.
