You buying D800 or D600

I was about to pull the trigger on the D800 last night for £2099, but thought I would wait until today's news!
For me I am edging towards the D600 mainly because I don't need 36mp that will put strain on the PC and I guess to get the most out of those 36mp you need great technique and best glass, and also I like the idea of a lighter camera with dual SD slots, much cheaper than CF.
I feel there is a great market for his camera, mainly aimed at enthusiasts rather than pros but it should still produce the goods.
But the D800 is only £145 more in the UK so in terms of value it's a no brainer, D800 wins hands down, but for me the D600 does what I need.
That said the D600 will drop by upto £400 by Christmas I bet.
What about other prospective customers which way ou going?
