D600 vs D800 dynamic range

Which will have a greater dynamic range?

That's pretty much the decider for me.

(I expect the noise on the D600 at a pixel level to be less, but when the full images are shown/printed the 50% extra megapixels of the D800 to cancel that advantage out. Is that a sensible assumption?)
