D7000 for $1000+ less... Cannot justify the D600

So I sold my 5d2 in prep for a move no Nikon, primarily for improved AF of moving targets .. So the d600 was my hope but it's just too much $$$ to justify... I mean the d7000 has great dynamic range and is probably only 2/3 stop worse in high ISO to the 5d2... And can be had for 800-1000... So it's either this cam or maybe a used D700 for better iSO and reduced Dof... Anyone else in this boat?
