formatting card on fz 200

I was trying to find that thread on formatting the sd card in the FZ 200. I couldn't find it.

Someone was talking about how many steps, you had to go through to format the card, then I think someone had found a shorter way. Had to be set up in manual focus, or something like that.

I tired to show someone, that just bought the camera, how to do the format, but could not find the short cut. This is a person, that is just starting out in photography, does not have a clue to how all this works.

Of course, when I got to the format menu,to show her, I forgot to press the right control button to format, and just pressed the center button and had to start all over again. Back to the main menu.... Dammmnnnn...

What is the shortest way to get the deed done?
