fz200 or discontinued slr?

Hi, looking at the price of the fz200 I wonder if it is a better buy some discontinued or next to be discontinued slr's like the sony a55 wich cost about the same or less. Both have same aprox weight and size (with the kit lens or with the 18-135) and the a55 has much better image quality.
But...the a55 falls (according with reviews) in movie mode against fz200. In part because of the heating and because of the lack of a high speed mode. I'm very interested in having good movie capabilities, may be not high speed movies, but only 9 minutes with steady shot "on" is not a very good performance.
It's also a plus on the a55 side it's gps, which fz200 doesn't have.
So, I think the a55 (with the standard kit) has only two things that don't let me decide for it. One is the "relatively" poor movie mode (at least in the reviews, rolling shutter, sensor heating, lack of high speed movie) and, the most obvious, the lens included in the kit is not a 25-600 mm!!
What do think about this? are there something I'm missing? I don't use the camera for work, i'm just a hobbyst.
thanks
Christian
