Canon 300F2.8 II Firmware Update

Although I remain unaffected, so far, I agree. The lens FW should be upgradable by the consumer. I am sure Canon would like to implement this too, if they can. Besides the inconvenience to the user each lens needing to be upgraded costs Canon money (shipping, labor, etc.). I am sure they realize this and will implement this where and when they can.
