Challenges and voting

Hello

As I am now addicted to DP Review and starting to enter challenges, I am unsure about voting in a challenge I have entered. While the person running the challenge seems to want people in the challenge to vote, I would have thought it fairer if you are in one, not to vote in that challenge at all.
Just looking for clarity and not an argument.
