Thanks for posting these samples and the informative information.

Trying to get my hands on an LX7 here in Bangkok, but sadly its not available yet.

Have you had a chance to try the "intelligent zoom"? Panasonic says it extends the zoom range without significantly reducing image quality .. but that's the marketing guys.

Occasionally I need a little more pulling power than this camera offers, but can compromise a little as 99% of my shots are normally only viewed on a laptop of HD TV.

If you have tried it, I would be interested to hear your views.
