I don't expect the Sigma DP2Merrill and SD1Merrill to have the same price, nor the A900 and the RX1.
Sigma realized that a (basically) point and shoot is reasonable priced at HALF price as a camera targeted to the pros, despite it haveing exaclty the same sensor.
Sony is asking way to much for this (and it is supposedly 1.5x more expensive than the rumored Nikon with the same Sensor)
Oh, and the Sony A850 was less than $2000...
