Sony A99 only 24 megapixel? What happen to 30+ megapixel?

So that would be roughly the same time that Nikon goes to 50.

Not to mention that would probably also be about the same time some of the larger-than-full-frame SLRs start to come out.

It seems Sony is absolutely determined to stay behind the curve.
