D300S vs Nikon

I took the leap to full frame with the D800e in May. It's a massive growth curve in many ways, but I'm enjoying every minute of it.

That said, I'm hanging on to my D300 and also using it on a regular basis. I've played with the 5100 and 7000, but the build quality, fit with my hand and focus fall far short of the D300. I don't shoot sports much anymore, but if I had to I'm not sure I wouldn't reach for my D300 first for reasons of frame rate, reach and durability.
