Why the RX1 is too expensive

What's about Cartier-Bresson who used a Leica with ONLY ONE lens (Elmar 50mm f3,5)? That's typical reporters/street photografer tool and novadays professional reporters still use no more then 2 lenses i.e. 35mm and 85-105mm in ff. Sport fotografers are using a oversized tele-lenses (400, 600, 800mm which no man from the street can afford) because of rule: when you do't have any tame use one lens - one body.

Remember a pocket sized Rollei 35SE, Minox GTE-MDC, Contax T-series, Leica MiniLux et c.t.? Only few could afford them. ..

Travelling photografers are using various lenses and special cart and local assistants. Every-day family-toristic photografy especially watched on TV & Computer and very seldom printed doesn't need a bulk-cost-complication. That is a main reason of billions-sellings of P&S and some 20-30,000 Leicas at the same period
