Because experience tells us that most ( but not all ) backfocus problems are either user errors or user expectations being too high.

Yes. Top of these is that focus "points" are not points.

A few examples with EXIF data would help. If you don't care to do that then just send the whole kit and caboodle to Nikon ( lens and camera ). However Nikon will want to see examples before they RMA it anyway.
