X-E1: "I like how it is not too sharp."

I've watched this and the other promotional video for the X-E1 a couple of times each.
On this particular one:

Am I the only one surprised that in Fujifilm's marketing, they are touting that this camera/lens isn't "too sharp"?
Now I for one recognize that there is such a thing as too sharp, but we all obsess over sharpness and I just thought it was a little weird to have heard this mentioned in the video.
