milky way with fuji

i have an fuji hs30 and i've tired to take a picture of milky way...big mistake.I've tired all settings and nothing...in my picture it apears just 2-3 stars...in the rest picture is black...any ideea?ps...the sky was assome...a bilion of stars and i see just 2-3 on my picture...damn..
