This lens is amazing!

So many questions……

1= How to better carry this monster?

2= Is it safe to use with a camera strap?

3= DOF: Now that I have the f/2.8G, I am looking at my first shots and I can see that DOF is something to consider carefully…

4= NC filter or any other filter to protect the lens?

5= Tips, settings, other considerations?

BTW: Thom Hogan writes: “Performance with the TC-14e teleconverter is nothing short of astonishing

and with the TC-20e teleconverter, the results are still good”…. this is good news for me as sometimes I shoot birds and others small subjects…
