The new camera is expected to share the same 51point-AF with D800 & D4, exceed D3X IQ (reasonable given the newly developed sensor, tech advancement and Nikon's tradition for better DR and noise performance than competition), work with all older nikon lenses and a very attractive price that will be due to construction outside Japan (first FX not made in Sendai), less sturdy body than D800 (half-magnesium) but better than D7K, 2xSD card slots (no CF) and perhaps a somewhat lesser but still 100% viewfinder... I believe that it will take a lot of D800 sales without affecting D800E and attract many new customers to FF both from Nikon and competition, what should Nikon do to keep the production in Sendai at the current levels?
