By the way, my question at the end was serious, I was not being sarcastic. I thought that given your technical expertise, you may have insights if a method like this (where the pattern is coded in the raw file) makes sense... Anyway, it is not important now.

As a PhD you know that randomness is a property of the generation/creation of an outcome (sensor in our case) and not of the outcome itself. If the specific arrangement is coded in the raw file it maybe possible to decode it... What do you think of that?
