So we are coming out with a new line of super-improved lenses. Eventually we'll stop making the old ones, but that depends on how fast the super-res cameras move.
So it's a replacement sort of, eventually, for the ZF.2 and ZE lines...

You might be correct.
I myself can't imagine I ever need more resolution than the current 36 MP. My current lens lineup matches this resolution perfectly without any real world flaws. In a lab some shortcomings may show up, but who cares?
